Chicago Magazine reports that JGEREN, the local luxury leather company, has opened a showroom in Lincoln Park.

Open by appointment only, the studio space has hides of leather decking its back walls and tables filled with leather samples. In crafting their bags, JGEREN owners Jen Gerenraich and Lori Wallis work with a factory in Cicero and use leather from English bridles and tornado gloves. Down the line, the duo plans to add belts, cuffs, a men's line, and outerwear to the collection.
