The Splendid Store Opens On Friday, Welcomes Daydreamers

Lest you thought St. Patty's Day parties were the most exciting thing about the upcoming weekend, we just got news that Splendid has moved its opening date up to Friday. (Splendid news, right?)

The Southport corridor shop will have a bright, airy look and a relaxed vibe. "The store's design stays true to stays true to Splendid's Southern California roots with natural wood fixtures and a daybed for daydreaming," a rep tells us. "Plus, a wall of live plants brings an outdoor element into the space."

The merchandise includes colorful, comfy duds for women and children. Our pick is the striped tee pictured above, because honestly? We have a soft spot for anything that seems plucked from the closet of Amélie Poulain.

Items from the Indigo Dye capsule collection will also be in store for the opening. Using Southern California dye houses, the brand filled the collection with ocean-inspired blues. Pieces include terry sweatshirts, a chambray jumpsuit, and woven chambray bottoms.
