CHICAGOLAND—Eater was all about pizza this week in celebrating the second Pizza Week. The 25 iconic Chicago pizzerias were revealed, we found out famous chefs' favorites, talked to an 85-year-old pizza woman, and are polling readers to finally find out the best deep dish in town.
FULTON MARKET—The Publican was home to the James Beard Foundation's lavish announcement this week of 2014's James Beard Award Finalists. Spiaggia, Donnie Madia, and Blackbird chef David Posey are among those in the running for the prestigious awards.
WEST LOOP—An outpost of famous person-backed Nobu Restaurant and Hotel is officially on the way to Randolph Row. Look for that to open in 2016.
FULTON MARKET—Cemitas Puebla, the little Humboldt Park Mexican sandwich shop that could, is hitting the big time. A second location is headed to a star-studded strip of Fulton Market, on the same block as Publican.
