The countdown to spring is officially on, and for the next several weeks we'll be getting you ready for longer days and significantly less bulky wardrobe items. For our new Spring Forward series, we've polled local store owners on what they're most excited about for spring, and our first trend alert comes from Roam owner Mallory Ulaszek.
"One of my favorite trends for spring were photo reproductions on silks," Ulaszek says. "I love the graphic nature of these pieces, and how it's a fresh contrast to the white on Roam's floor." Below, take a peek at some items from Roam that embody the trend. And though spring is still 13 days away, these pieces are available in store as we speak.
- "For a fresh pop of color, newcomer ICB's Emulsion Print dress ($425) effortlessly toes the line between whimsical and chic."
- "The Remi Canarie Trixie silk shorts ($440) are playful, and fun to wear on those warmer days we're currently dreaming of." And, hometown shout out: Remi Canarie is a Chicago-based brand.
- "Lastly, Remi Canarie's Jack Slit dress ($835) has this wonderful ocean horizon image, which creates an update to the ombre we saw so much of in seasons past."
