This bit of boutique news brightened our grey day. Sir & Madame, the Ukrainian Village shop that specializes in "classic with a twist" pieces for men and women, is expecting a new shipment of stylish raincoats from Stutterheim.
Inspired by melancholy (the theory is that embracing a little brooding leads to a richer human experience, and "embracing rain is a good start,") the Swedish brand has embarked on a four-city tour that stops at Sir & Madame on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m.. Along with treats and drinks, shoppers will get to check out the line's latest raincoats, and capes.
