Oh, so we're back to writing about winter skincare tips, are we? (Thanks, April snowfall.) Since mother nature isn't going to help us get that summery glow anytime soon, here's an alternative. Clarins, the luxury cosmetics company with local counters at Macy's, Nordstrom, and more, has just released a new self-tanning product. And, since we're pretty adverse to tanning beds—and even more adverse to our currently quite pasty complexion— we're eager to give it a go.

Dubbed Golden Glow Booster, the product works like this: add three drops of it to your regular moisturizer (no lie; we love Clarins extra creamy Multi-Active Day cream) and smooth into your skin. Et voila. Within 12 hours of application, product reps say that an even, natural-looking tan will show up. We're not used to golden glows (see: above-cited pastiness), so a Macy's staffer assured us that two drops will lead to a gentler glow. Here's to sunnier days ahead.
