Usually, we leave smelling-like-the-beach to a bottle of sunscreen. But there's something special about Finn & Co.'s White Sand perfume. It has that quintessentially summery scent, but with something sophisticated tossed into the mix—imagine a roller ball filled with Bossa Nova and crashing waves. The actual ingredients? Jasmine, mandarin, salt, and apricot oil, mixed up with jojoba oil, honeysuckle, and apricot-seed fragrance.
Better yet, the perfume's back-story makes it a perfect Mother's Day gift. Finn & Co. is based out of Maine and is family-owned and operated. The creator and designer is Meg Spencer, and her mother Linda is the accounts director and helps out on the creative side. The line itself was named after Spencer's daughter Finnley "who represents beauty at its best," the designer has said.
In Illinois, the product is available at Odalisque Beauty Apothecary in Geneva, which is a completely fabulous beauty shop if you're down for a mother-daughter road trip. Otherwise, shop away online.
