- Cave is an avid art collector.
- Last week, the team was hard at work on pieces for SAIC's 80th anniversary iteration of "The Walk," in which Cave will perform. The team was also working on pieces for Frieze Art Fair New York.
- The vibe in the studio is "very calm and chill; it can get meditative even," Cave said. "That said, there is a lot of food sharing and camaraderie too."
- Bins hold buttons, beads, and other odds and ends.
- At the studio, daily tasks are "really about seeing the art process from concept to completion, and then through exhibition," Cave said.
- The team in the studio comprises five to 30 artists at any given time. "Everyone on our team is an artist or maker in their own right," Cave said. To apply for a position at the studio, each candidate goes through a day-long skills test.
