CHICAGO—It's that time of the month again to name the hottest restaurants in town. The April 2014 Eater Chicago heatmap adds the red-hot socially conscious chicken shop Leghorn, Tete Charcuterie on Randolph Row, and Rockit Ranch's Bottlefork to the fray.

RIVER NORTH—It's been almost a year since news broke of the first Midwestern location of Danny Meyer's cult-favorite burger spot Shake Shack. The latest news is that ownership is hoping to open in the current Harley Davidson space on Ohio and Rush in the fall.

WRIGLEYVILLE—Effective today, Cubs fans and eaters all over the city can try 30 variations of poutine at the Canadian-import The Big Cheese Poutinerie. Click here to read the menu.
