LOGAN SQUARE—Slippery Slope, a rowdy dancing and drinking establishment constantly awash in a red glow, opened this week on a block of Milwaukee avenue that's becoming one-stop-shopping for all your drinking, dining and entertainment needs. The new Scofflaw spot also has skee ball.

AROUND TOWN—Craft Beer Week, running until May 25, is underway. Many many establishments around the city have events and deals that beer aficionados won't want to miss. Check out Eater's list of the best of them.

RIVER NORTH—The Melman brothers of Lettuce Entertain You fame unleashed their latest concept on River North earlier this week. Ramen-San, in half of the remodeled Paris Club space, serves many types of ramen, beer, and cocktails until the wee hours.
