Well this takes crafting to a whole new, fancy level. Chicago Magazine reports that Prada is bringing its made-to-order shoe program to the city. From June 2 to 8, the service will be available at the Oak Street boutique during store hours.
What this means for you? With a whole crayon-box spectrum of shoe materials and a range of heel heights and styles to choose from, you can create a D.I.Y. pair of Prada shoes. What's more, you can select the color for the shoe box, and add your initials to the soles. The whole process starts at a steep $745, so don't go too nuts at the Memorial Day weekend sales.
