Morlen Sinoway Atelier hosts its annual Guerrilla Truck Show each year during NeoCon—the trade fair that's taking place at the Merchandise Mart as we speak—and this year's iteration takes place tonight. Now in its tenth year, the event lets all kinds of creative types showcase their wares in temporary galleries in the backs of trucks, which are parked outside the atelier.
This year, the "guerrillas" include local, independent designers such as Blak Haus Furniture and SOLO Home Design. There will also be a farmer's market, DJ sets, and a "swing set drum kit," or interactive sonic sculpture, by Dave Ford with Packer Schopf Gallery. The event runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.; it's free; and no R.S.V.P. is required.
