Chicago Bike Week is happening now through June 20. As part of the citywide celebration, the Active Transportation Alliance has partnered with the chambers of commerce in West Town and Lakeview to create Bike-Friendly Business Districts. In these areas, business owners will actively promote biking through initiatives like special promotions—and this applies to area shops. On Friday, for example, Ancien Cycles will offer live music and free pho-style soup. [Active Transportation Alliance]
