After opening at The Shops at North Bridge, Porsche Design is set to debut its second area store. At Oakbrook Center, the store will open later this month.
Some details about the new space: it's 1,000 square feet, and carries men's and women's ready-to-wear, sportswear, handbags, luggage, eyewear, timepieces, writing tools, and even electronic gadgets like the new Porsche Design P'9982 Smartphone from BlackBerry.
The store's design will incorporate dark oak flooring, hand-tufted carpets, and accents of rich black leather. This location will have a bright, airy look with white walls and an open layout, and is (according to brand reps) more feminine in its look and vibe than other locations.
