"Beard Maintenance Has Been Big" at Art + Science Evanston

A quick snippet of hair news, if you'll allow: Art + Science Salon, which has outposts in Wicker Park and Lincoln Park, has opened its Evanston location. The new spot, just two blocks from the Davis purple line stop, has an in-house barber shop that provides treatments such as beard and mustache trims.

"Matt is our in-house barber and offers a complimentary hot towel treatment and hot lather neck shave with all haircuts—all within the coolest area in the salon," says the salon's chief creative officer Paul Wilson. "Beard maintenance has been big, and straight razor shaves are coming soon."
