Brideside, the online bridesmaid dress boutique that lets bridesmaids try on dresses at home (read all about it here), has opened up a studio in River North.

"There are so many horror stories of shopping for for bridesmaid dresses at traditional boutiques," said co-founder Nicole Staple in an interview. "With Brideside, we reimagined the bridesmaid shopping experience online, and now we're doing the same in our studio." Though the brand is still selling dresses online, its first brick-and-mortar space has a few extra perks: it hosts small, champagne-fueled happy hours, for one.

Brides can check out the studio's designer frocks (with a little bubbly, why not) and still ship samples to bridesmaids in other states. The studio is open weekdays from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., and brides can book hour-long appointments here.
