The publication reports that the Detroit-based company has signed a lease on the 1,800-square-foot space, and plans to open up in October. The store will sell watches, bikes, and leather goods, as well as items from other manufacturers. And in a move that echoes the M.O. of a bunch of new Chicago stores, Shinola will aim to provide a community hub, as well as a place to shop.
