GOLD COAST—After 7,000 votes, Eater readers crowned Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse the best steakhouse in Chicago on Monday.

DEPAUL—Six years in the making, the historic, completely rebuilt, and supposedly still-haunted Red Lion Pub reopened on Wednesday, debuting its stunning new buildout and intellectual theme. Then it closed the next day to "work out the kinks"—look for it to be back in business on Monday.

LOGAN SQUARE—Webster's Wine Bar, one of Chicago's oldest wine bars, moved into its new digs in the former home of Telegraph on the square.
