Local Eclectic, the website that showcases independent makers and designers, has launched a new series that pairs visual artists with fashion designers. And the results—according to the first collection, anyway—are nothing short of rainbow-hued and magical.

Artist Claire Ashley teamed up with accessories designer Ogechi Anyanwu of Eye of the Sun to produce a limited-edition run of bags. To make the accessories, Ashley spray-painted a roll of in sunny-bright hues; Ogechi then hand-cut the canvas to create 50 small bags. The bags can be rolled up and used as a wallet or clutch; or, they can stay loose and store and odds and ends that need a crafty home. Bags are $40 a pop, and can be pre-ordered here.
