It's been nearly a year since The Fashion Outlets of Chicago burst onto the fabulous-and-discounted shopping scene. And on the (almost) eve of its big August 1 birthday, the shopping center has announced the addition of two new stores: St. John will open there this fall, and Merrell is set to bow later this month.

Other outlets news? The Gap Factory Store is hosting a bash this weekend with extra discounts and nifty giveaways, so if that's more your kind of party than Lollapalooza... we'll see you in Rosemont.
