Nail artist extraordinaire Tacarra "Spifster" Sutton and furniture restoration company Mélange Clothier + Interior Wear have teamed up to launch a line of pillows entitled "Pillow Fight."
Brittanie Mullings, founder of Mélange Clothier + Interior Wear, wanted to create a line of home decor that she could mass-produce while staying true to the custom feel of her reupholstered products. She'd also been looking for the opportunity to collaborate with Spifster, whose signature geometric designs have graced the nails of celebs like Jennifer Hudson, Chrisette Michele, and Adrienne Bailon. Together, the two have created a collection of bold and playful hand-painted home decor.
The line, called "Pillow Fight" and priced from $60 to $80, was unveiled a couple weeks ago at Sir & Madame in Wicker Park. It's now available online. For 15% off your order, use promo code "THREEWEEKS" at checkout by August 18th.—Lani Nguyen
