Local Goods Chicago [5354 West Devon Avenue] will host its August Launch Party this evening from 5:30 to 7:30. The shindig will offer a peek at the store's "pop-up market" vendors, and showcase local artisans whose work is new to the shop. Look for goods from Ms. Matilda Designs, Venus in Pisces Handmade Soap, and more—and that "more" includes cupcakes and beer. [Racked Inbox]
