At a time when rent seems to be rising everywhere, Block 37 in the Loop is hosting a contest for a chance to win free pop-up space! Announced just yesterday, the contests invites "all brands, designers, artists or creators" to participate. An important detail, a City of Chicago Retail Business License is required to enter.
The winner will receive $2,500 to put towards build-out and design and access to 731 square ft pop-up space to operate during the holiday season. The winner will be selected by "Block 37 and its parties, in conjunction with consideration of the dominant fan vote which will take place on Block 37's social channels".
Block 37 is currently home to major retailers like Anthropologie, Sephora, Zara, and Steve Madden, along with Chicago-based Iridium Clothing, Akira and Bucketfeet. We can't wait to see who wins the contest and joins the block!
