And now the latest from Curbed Chicago, covering everything you need to know about the city's neighborhoods and real estate.
STREETERVILLE— Hollywood A-lister and Chicago sports superfan Vince Vaughn has decided to take another swing at selling his five bedroom triplex penthouse in the landmark Palmolive Building, this time listing it for $14.9 million.
LOGAN SQUARE— It's official: Logan Square's Mega Mall has been sold. A recently released proposal calls for 166,000 square feet of retail space and 426 total parking spaces, however, the developer may be interested in adding a residential component to the mix.
LINCOLN PARK—The little blue house on the corner of Armitage Avenue and Howe Street in Lincoln Park has been demolished. The post-Chicago Fire worker cottage was built in 1886 and stood at a petite 600 square feet.
EVERYWHERE— Curbed Chicago is hiring an associate editor. The associate editor will blog daily and have some editorial duties. To apply, see the job description here.
