Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Fitness buffs and commitment-phones rejoice, ClassPass has landed in Chicago. The fitness subscription service has already launched in four markets, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and received rave reviews from our sister sites.

For $99/month, ClassPass members get access to unlimited classes at many of Chicago's best studios with up to 3 visits to each studio. The ClassPass Chicago roster includes Shred415, Pure Barre, and Exhale just to name a few, and the platform has over over 400 studios nationwide. It's a great way to check out new classes and boutique studios.

As our San Francisco sister site points out, there are a couple small drawbacks like ClassPass's 24-hour cancellation period compared to the usual 12-hour window and one hour cutoff before class begins, but they're small tradeoffs for noteworthy savings.

Membership is invite-only, so request an invite before word gets around!
