Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
After six years in Wicker Park, Le Dress boutique is saying farewell and closing permanently September 28th. The owners were presented with a new lease and made the decision to move on. We stopped by Le Dress to shop their closing sale and as expected saw dozens of discounted dresses. The entire store is on markdown, starting at 25% off up to 75% off. As expected, the deepest discounts were on older merchandise like a hot pink Shoshanna dress now $96.25 (retail $385), and our favorite items were their new fall pieces like black Milly dress, now $367.84 (retail $418). We hear the shop will be receiving new inventory until the 10th and another price drop is slated for mid-late next week.
For those who have a full closet, but space in the home, much of their furniture is for sale: everything from hangers, mirrors, sofa chairs, dehumidifiers and this mirrored pedestal table listed on Craigslist.
Located right on Division Street, this would be a convenient stop for those visiting the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend.
