After five years, Sofia boutique will be closing its doors a week from today on September 15th. A couple weeks ago, the shop posted a photo to Instagram and Facebook with the caption, "The end of an era.... #livelovely."
With Sofia being a landmark in Gold Coast and Chicago retail, this store closing really does feel like the end of an era. The boutique thanked shoppers for their loyalty and support in their comments, but they haven't reveled why. While the closing seems abrupt, looking back at some of their major sales, perhaps it's not so sudden?
Everything in-store is 40-90% off, and the shop has been getting new shipments of clothing everyday. Fans of rag & bone, Show Me Your Mumu, Rails, BLANK JEANS, and Novella Royale, you'll want to stop by. If you can't make it over to the store, everything online is marked down as well.
